Gretchen Heal serves as the Vice President of Government Affairs for the Hampton Roads Chamber, where she works to strengthen the connection between the business community and elected officials across the region and state.
In this role, Gretchen advocates for policy and legislation that supports the business community in Hampton Roads. Her position allows her to connect with business leaders, organizations, and elected leaders to improve regional collaboration in Hampton Roads. She also provides support to members at all levels of government while her goal is to be honest and professional in her day-to-day interactions with people.
Having been with the Hampton Roads Chamber for nearly five years, Gretchen plays a key role in advancing the Chamber’s public policy efforts and fostering productive dialogue between business and government. She is passionate about helping businesses navigate the legislative landscape and ensuring their voices are represented in conversations that shape the future of Hampton Roads.
Outside of her work with the Chamber, Gretchen enjoys reading the many historical markers found throughout the region and exploring the rich history of Virginia.
