Client Services Coordinator

Loretta “Lori” Dunn serves as the Client Services Coordinator for the Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center. In this role, she enjoys being accessible and responsive to business owners as well as the Advisors at the Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center.

Her goal is to use her office and life skills to help others flourish. She enjoys seeing businesses grow here in the 757 and be led by diverse individuals. Lori thinks about the way she would like to be treated and strives to treat others better than that.

Prior to her time at the Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center, Lori was a Flight Attendant for American Airlines as well as a paralegal. In addition, Lori is the President and Founder of Working Class Karma, a 501(c)3 with the unique mission of helping other nonprofits through local creative arts. She is also the Director/Producer of an award-winning documentary titled Tribute Mural Film.

On a personal note, Lori was born and raised in Norfolk and currently resides in Virginia Beach. Throughout her life, she has enjoyed all things Hampton Roads. A few of her favorite activities include visiting: local art shows, museums, theaters, historical places like the Attucks Theatre, Saint Mary’s Cathedral, and, of course Doumars! She also enjoys Old Towne Portsmouth, The Commodore Theatre, The Palace Theater, and Lemon Tree Gallery on the Eastern Shore.
