9th Annual Hermitage Handmade Festival- Call for Sponsors
Reach over 4,000 Hampton Roads residents at the Hermitage’s 2024 Handmade Festival
The Hermitage Handmade Festival, now in its 9th year, celebrates the vibrant community of artisans in Hampton Roads. On September 21, 2024, this free festival promises a full day of enriching experiences and will welcome over 3,800 people to support over 95 small businesses.
At the heart of the Hermitage Handmade Festival are dedicated creative business owners, each offering unique, handcrafted items available for purchase. From wood turning, fashion design, ceramics, and mosaics, it’s a showcase of the boundless creativity and craftsmanship within our local community. A panel of community leaders, artists, and educators serve as judges, awarding cash prizes to three of the most innovative vendors.
Proceeds from this festival support operations and programs at the Goode Family Visual Arts School and outreach and field trip opportunities for regional k-12 students at the Hermitage Museum and Gardens.
Additionally, support of this program ensures that upwards of 4,000 people will have free access to the festival, museum, and enrichment activities throughout the day.
Sponsorship opportunities include onsite marketing space, broad promotional benefits, and Hermitage Memberships to use throughout the year.
