Richmond, Virginia – May 9, 2024  Breeden Construction commemorates the 10^th Annual Construction Safety Week, May 6 – 10, by recommitting to furthering safety as a pinnacle priority on every construction site.

Breeden Construction’s efforts this year include external and internal media campaigns, consisting of banners, daily social posts and daily companywide toolbox talk emails, to help further educate and highlight safety’s role at all construction sites.

“Construction is both physically and mentally demanding. We believe as a leader in the industry, we have a responsibility to acknowledge the challenges our team members face and create an environment where safety is a priority,” said Brian Revere, president of Breeden Construction. That’s why this year’s Construction Safety Week theme, “Value Every Voice,” emphasizes the importance of working together to build a culture that values every voice and ensures everyone in every role feels seen, heard and supported.

Since its inception, more than 70 construction firms across the U.S. and Canada have joined forces for Construction Safety Week. Founded by members of The Construction Industry Safety Initiative and the Incident & Injury Free Executive Forum, this safety week was designed to promote worker safety and wellness. It’s an opportunity for people, companies, and the entire industry to join, celebrate and recommit to doing whatever it takes to send everyone home safe every day.
