Newport News, VA — Langley Federal Credit Union is excited to announce that Jerome Fowlkes has been appointed as chief impact officer. This newly created position reflects the tremendous contributions Fowlkes has made to the organization and reinforces Langley’s commitment to fostering a thriving internal culture, community engagement and sustainable business partnerships.

In this role, Fowlkes will provide strategic leadership for key areas that are central to Langley’s mission and values, including Human Resources and Organizational Development, Learning & Leadership Development, Inclusion and Belonging, Foundation and Corporate Social Responsibility, Community and Affinity Group Engagement and Development of Business Partnerships.

Fowlkes will drive Langley’s efforts to build a diverse and inclusive workplace, nurture professional growth and expand our community involvement. His leadership will help Langley build stronger connections within the community, advance our corporate social responsibility initiatives and create a positive impact for our members, employees and partners.
