Managing Communications Consulting is Excited to Announce the 2025 Regional Workforce CTE Forum!
Businesses and nonprofits engaging and partnering to bring more learning experiences to high school students…our soon-to-be workforce.
Help us celebrate our third year committed to the Workforce Career and Technical Education (CTE) Forums on November 13, 8:00-noon at Virginia Wesleyan University! The Forum focuses on giving our soon-to-be high school graduates more opportunities to understand and choose a career for their futures! Hundreds of them do not know what they are going to do when they get their diplomas.
The Forum builds relationships by emphasizing partnerships between businesses, nonprofits, our high school CTE Administrators, colleges/universities, economic development/government, and community leaders. What makes it unique is the industry breakout sessions where conversations continue. We have seen amazing outcomes. Key industries related to CTE clusters are medical, manufacturing/construction, new energies, transportation, entrepreneurs, and all those from trades to professional services.
If you are concerned about hiring young workers for your positions in your business or nonprofit or are a recruiter, a small business, or entrepreneur starting your business, your input, networking, and potential partnerships are critical for the economic viability of our region.
This year we will have two panels of success stories, one with professionals from cities, businesses, and nonprofits and one of students/young workers who found a career through an internship, pre-apprentice program, or other learning experience and are on their way in a great career!
