Join NAMIWalks Coastal Virginia 2026: Walking Together for Mental Health Awareness and Hope

Mental health affects every community, every family, and every workplace. This fall, community members across Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore are invited to come together for NAMIWalks Coastal Virginia, a powerful event dedicated to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting mental health programs that provide hope and help to individuals and families.

NAMIWalks Coastal Virginia will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. This annual community event brings together individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to celebrate mental health advocacy while raising critical funds to support free education, support groups, outreach, and advocacy programs throughout our region.

Participants of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to join the movement by registering as a walker, creating a team, or supporting someone who is walking. Whether you are walking in honor of a loved one, in support of your employees and colleagues, or simply standing with the community, every step helps create a future where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health.

Businesses and community organizations are also invited to partner with NAMIWalks Coastal Virginia through sponsorship opportunities. Sponsors play a vital role in helping expand access to mental health resources while demonstrating a commitment to the well-being of our community. Sponsorship benefits include opportunities for recognition, visibility, community engagement, and meaningful connection with event participants and supporters.

There is still time to get involved. Register your team, become a sponsor, or learn more about how you can support NAMIWalks Coastal Virginia today.

Together, we can walk toward a community where no one faces mental health challenges alone.
