(April 28, 2025, Norfolk, Virginia) Lician Johnson-Edwards, MSN, RN, the CEO of the new franchise Nurse Next Door Norfolk is announcing the opening of the home care agency, offering a wide range of services throughout Hampton Roads.

Johnson-Edwards and her staff have training and expertise to provide home care services to patients who need nursing care, personal care, respite care, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care, post-operative care, companion services or other activities to help patients be safe and cared for at home.

As an RN with over eleven years of medical-surgical experience, Johnson-Edwards saw a need for custom in-home care allowing families to keep their loved one at home where they want to be. She holds a Master of Science, MSN, from Western Governors University, in nursing leadership and management and a bachelor’s degree from Northern Caribbean University in nursing. Born and raised in Jamaica, Johnson-Edwards has served as a medical professional in our region since January 2021 and has recently become a Citizen of the United State of America. In addition to her new agency, Johnson-Edwards is an adjunct professor at ECPI.
