Monthly Socials Help Singles Make Connections On and Off the Court

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (June 22, 2026) – Palace of Pickleball is putting a new spin on meeting people by combining one of America’s fastest-growing sports with a fun, modern approach to making connections.

On Friday, June 26, Palace of Pickleball will host its first Pickleball Speed Dating event, an interactive experience designed to help participants meet new people in a relaxed, active setting. Open to adult players of all ages and skill levels, the event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Participants will rotate through a series of short pickleball games with different partners and opponents throughout the evening while enjoying music, refreshments and opportunities to socialize.

“Pickleball is naturally social, which makes it the perfect setting for meeting new people,” said Lisa Cardona, owner of Palace of Pickleball. “This event allows people to connect through a shared activity in a fun, low-pressure environment.”

Registration is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. The June 26 event is the first in a series of monthly Pickleball Speed Dating events planned for the last Friday of each month.
