Tracy Keller Appointed to Serve on Virginia Council on Women

Tracy Kessler-Keller of Chesapeake, CEO of Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast, has been appointed by Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin to serve on the Virginia Council on Women.

The council of 21 members serves as an advisory body within the executive branch of Virginia’s state government. The council’s purpose is to advise the Governor on matters about women as it pertains to ways to improve women’s educational, professional, cultural, and governmental status within the Commonwealth. Keller is a longtime advocate for girls and women. In addition to her involvement with Girl Scouts, she leads the Rotary District 7600 Empowering Girls (SP) Initiative and is active with the Women United Leadership Society, sponsored by United Way of South Hampton Roads.
