Vice President of Community Engagement

Liz Pasqulini

Liz Pasqualini serves as the Vice President of Community Engagement for Volunteer Hampton Roads, an affiliate of the Hampton Roads Chamber. In this role, she is the direct point of contact to each of Volunteer Hampton Roads’ non-profit partners, keeping her thumb on the pulse of the needs of the Hampton Roads community and connecting those needs with corporate partners in order to grow civic engagement.

Liz believes that the true social change comes from the willingness to question the status quo, the vision to see opportunity where others see only challenges, and the fortitude to relentlessly pursue what is just.

With collaboration as a major skill set needed for her role, Liz works with many groups to create change and relationships to better the Hampton Roads area and the world. Liz received her Bachelor’s degree from Smith College in Sociology and Third World Development Studies and a Master’s degree from Brown University in Public Administration. Prior to her time at Volunteer Hampton Roads, Liz was the Executive Director of The Jonnycake Center of Westerly (Westerly, Rhode Island) and Executive Director of the Thames River Innovation Place (Groton, Connecticut.)

On a personal note, Liz loves exploring all of the antique shops, thrift stores, and vegan eateries in and around Hampton Roads! She is also a proud member of The Rotary Club of Portsmouth.
