HRBizPAC
Hampton Roads Business Political Action Committee
HRBizPAC is a solutions-based, non-partisan committee of the Hampton Roads Chamber that seeks to strengthen the voice of member businesses and its influence in the legislative process. It was established as a financial avenue to identify and support candidates that demonstrate understanding of the interests of the business community and whose platform align with the PAC’s business agenda.
Endorsements and monetary contributions are guided by the members of the PAC and are based on the following criteria:
- Professional background
- General accessibility and willingness to meet with and discuss issues with representatives of the business community
- Position statements and voting record on critical issues of importance to the business community
- VPAP and VAFREE data
- Candidate interviews and questionnaires responses
- A demonstrated willingness to sponsor and promote pro-business policies

Donations to the HRBizPAC helps to advance policies that attracts investment, creates and retains jobs, and improves the quality of life in the region.
