Gabby Fisher serves as the Manager of Member Engagement. In this role, she assists new chamber members with the onboarding process and is the direct point of contact for all membership-related needs.
Her goal is to use her understanding of marketing, strategic planning, and interpersonal communication skills to strengthen community relationships, promote regional economic growth, and help businesses thrive. She takes great pride in being a reliable person and knows that her integrity and strong work ethic fuel her passion for helping the business community.
Gabby is originally from San Antonio, Texas and has recently relocated to the area. Prior to her time here in the Hampton Roads, Gabby and her husband who is active-duty Navy, were stationed in central California. There, she was employed at a local Chamber of Commerce where she served as Executive Assistant to the Director and CEO.
In previous roles, Gabby was recognized with a District Marketing Award for organizing numerous events in the local community, named a company liaison to NAS Lemoore through helping strengthen relationships with multiple organizations aboard NAS Lemoore, and was awarded a Community Service Award for partnering with Lemoore Parks and Recreation to put together multiple park clean-ups.
On a personal note, Gabby looks forward to exploring Hampton Roads with her three dogs and attending pet-friendly events. She advocates against domestic violence and supports the Erin Rios Castro Foundation (#JusticeForErin Movement) that honors her cousin. Gabby also is a supporter of women’s economic literacy and economic empowerment and has spent time planning events and serving on boards promoting access to education and training for women and girls.
