AT&T, Human-I-T and Vision Driven 757 Team Up to Provide Laptops to Students to Boost Digital Literacy and Learning

Norfolk, VA, February 3, 2024

AT&T and Human-I-T teamed up with Vision Driven 757 to distribute 100 laptops to students from Hampton Roads during the “Building Bosses Youth Empowerment Conference,” an event focused on empowering and showcasing the talents and skills of the youth across Hampton Roads.

The conference is dedicated to empowering and inspiring the youth of Hampton Roads by providing them with a space to showcase their talents and abilities, as well as knowledge, skills, and resources they need to become future leaders, entrepreneurs and change-makers, according to Lindsey Anderson, executive director, Vision Driven 757.

The 100 laptops will enable access to the internet and the myriad digital tools and opportunities available online. The students will also have access to The Achievery, a free online learning platform created by AT&T to provide K-12 students with engaging and entertaining content paired with learning activities for everywhere today’s connected students learn.

This contribution is a part of AT&T’s Connected Learning® initiative to help address the digital divide through internet accessibility, affordability and safe adoption.

“Vision Driven 757 is doing great things to support young people in Hampton Roads. These laptops will help area students boost their digital skills and prepare them for their future pursuits,” said Garrett McGuire, regional director, AT&T External Affairs.
