Chartway Announces Promotions of Dana Brock, Kelsey Jones and Jace White
Virginia Beach, VA (February 4, 2025) – Chartway Credit Union is proud to announce the promotions of Dana Brock to vice president of credit operations & services, Kelsey Jones to vice president of business intelligence, and Jace White to senior vice president of talent engagement.
Dana Brock
Brock’s career with Chartway began in 2001 as a teller and evolved into progressively more responsible roles in both lending and operations. In her previous role as director of consumer lending, she led initiatives to enhance underwriting and loan servicing, streamline processes, and align lending strategies with credit union goals. Brock’s Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) and Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designations and her participation in Filene’s i3 program showcase her commitment to the credit union movement and continuing professional development.
Now as vice president of credit operations & services, Brock is leading credit-related strategy and functions for consumer lending, optimizing profitability by balancing risk management with competitive pricing strategies and innovative credit products. This includes overseeing credit policy and operational standards to ensure alignment with the credit union’s risk appetite and business objectives and collaborating closely with risk, compliance, finance, technology, and member service teams to ensure seamless credit operations.
Kelsey Jones
Jones joined Chartway in 2021 as a business analyst before transitioning to director of business analytics in 2022 where she managed the business analytics team and created reporting and analytics strategies for decision-making. She worked closely with business leaders to align insights with strategic goals, developed data training programs to ensure consistency, and promoted the effective use of data to drive growth. Jones’ participation in professional development programs, including Next Level Leadership and Filene’s i2 program, highlight her dedication to growth and innovation.
As vice president of business intelligence, she will advance the credit union’s analytics and data-driven strategies to enhance members’ service and experience, oversee the business analytics and data engineering teams, and provide enterprise-wide data leadership.
Jace White
White began his Chartway journey in 1999 as a part-time teller and has since excelled in various roles across retail banking, lending, and human resources. His tenure combined with his passion for people and culture position him as a key leader in talent development. Most recently, as vice president of talent acquisition and engagement, White successfully led initiatives to strengthen Chartway’s organizational culture and attract top talent.
In his new role as senior vice president of talent engagement, White will drive strategic initiatives to attract, engage, and retain top talent and foster a thriving workplace culture. He will leverage data-driven insights to guide workforce planning, pay equity strategies, and team member experience enhancements. White will work collaboratively across departments to align talent strategies with Chartway’s business objectives and cultural priorities. Additionally, he will oversee talent acquisition, engagement programs, workforce analytics, and diversity initiatives, ensuring that the credit union remains competitive, inclusive, and aligned with its core values and purpose.
