VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (March 26, 2025) – The Breeden Company President and CEO Tim Faulkner was chosen one of the 2025 CoVaBiz 150 Most Influential People honored last week at the Founder’s Inn in Virginia Beach.

Honorees were selected by the CoVa Biz editorial board over a months-long process. They considered those individuals at the helm of companies and organizations whose contributions to the Hampton Roads region have been transformational.

In his role at The Breeden Company, Faulkner leads the global operations of one of the nation’s premier real estate development firms. With over 35 years of experience in executive leadership, operational strategy and real estate development, he oversees all aspects of the company’s construction, property management, development and commercial realty divisions. Under his leadership, The Breeden Company has evolved into a vertically integrated, nationally recognized industry powerhouse.

Faulkner is known for his strategic vision, innovative problem-solving and ability to drive profitable revenue growth while improving asset conditions and client service. He is a respected leader in decision-making, governance and financial structuring, fostering partnerships that position The Breeden Company for continued success. His expertise in streamlining operations and identifying efficiencies has been instrumental in maintaining a high-performing organization of over 450 associates.

Before joining The Breeden Company, Faulkner served as president and chief operating officer of Lawton Lumber Company, where he optimized manufacturing and operational processes. He also held leadership roles at American Coating Technologies as vice president of operations and at Procter & Gamble as a process engineer and production manager.

A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in operations research and systems analysis with a minor in civil engineering. He served in the U.S. Army as a platoon leader, assistant operations officer and battalion personnel officer in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
